Raspberry Pi CM3 (Compute Module 3) is a high-performance computing module launched by the Raspberry Pi Foundation. It is based on the hardware design of Raspberry Pi 3 and is equipped with a 1.2GHz Broadcom BCM2837 processor and 1GB RAM. Compared with the previous generation, its CPU performance has been improved by 10 times.
CM3 provides flexible storage options. The standard version is equipped with 4GB eMMC flash memory. In contrast, the Lite version replaces the eMMC flash memory with an SD expansion interface, allowing users to choose the appropriate storage solution according to their needs. In addition, CM3 also supports running Windows IoT and Linux systems, providing developers with a broader range of development environment options.
CM3 is small and can adapt to various hardware devices.
